I’m kind of obsessed with this NYT article on the sweat lodge deaths. There’s so many crazy parts—the puking, the $250 Peruvian panchos, the $9,695 “spiritual warrior” experience, the white robes, the cinematic retelling of the woman crawling out of the tent to find her dying roommate, the “channeler” at the end who claims those who died left their bodies because “they were having too much fun.”  Jesus.
